The Sicilian Regional Assembly (ARS) is the legislative body of the Sicilian Region, as established by its special statute approved by Royal Decree No. 416 of 1946 and subsequently by Constitutional Law No. 2 of 1948. Its headquarters are located in the Royal Palace in Palermo.

The ARS is the first elective legislative assembly to convene in Italy after the end of World War II and is the only Italian regional assembly whose members hold the title of deputy, as established by Article 7 of the special statute. The Assembly comprises 70 members elected for a five-year term; until 1971, the term was set at four years, while the number of deputies, originally set at 90, was reduced by the reform approved in 2012. Furthermore, since 2001, the Assembly has been renewed concurrently with the direct election of the President of the Sicilian Region.
