Juventude Socialista is the youth organization associated with the Partido Socialista and is dedicated to promoting political participation, democratic values, and civic engagement among young people in Portugal. Founded in 1974, shortly after the Carnation Revolution, the organization encourages young people to take an active role in public life and in the development of progressive policies related to education, employment, social justice, equality, and environmental sustainability. Through debates, training activities, campaigns, and international cooperation, the Juventude Socialista provides opportunities for young people to engage with political institutions and contribute to democratic decision-making.
